The main problem is that this game could have been a bit too ambitious for an 8-bit system.
The Commodore 64 port (the only 8-bit home computer port to be released) wasn't that bad at all. But one of the main difficulties was the large and numerous sprites or Bosses used in the Arcade game.
Retro Gamer issue 126 (March 2014) had an article 'The Amstrad CPC Games That Time Forgot' which had a small section on Toki and there was a screenshot of the main character sprites. GGP announced in 2019 that they were developing a conversion of Toki for the Amstrad CPC. It was eventually released on 29th October 2022 and was rated 88% by Retro Gamer in issue 241. == Screenshots == The screenshots below featured in the June 1991 issue (#69) of Amstrad Action. <center><gallery style="clear: both">Image:Toki_Screen1_AmstradAction.jpgImage:Toki_Screen2_AmstradAction.jpg</gallery></center>
