<big>ASCII Tools </big>
ASCII Tools (for [[CP/M]]-80) are a set of tools for that can be used in order to process very large ASCII text files. They can be useful to programmers and code developers, editors and authors who want to have their source codes consolidated into individual ASCII files stored or articles respectively, saved in a single ASCII file on the CPC6128. ASCII Tools have been under development since 1988 by [[KSL|KSL]]. The main task was to create a set of tools in order to deal with very large source code ASCII files, that were transferred from Windows or MS-DOS Systems to the CPC6128 and vise versa. Their The virgin name of the software was CPC-WRITE. In 2004, the first simple version of ASCII Tools for CP/M plus was presented at the [[COM II|CPC Meeting II]] organized by [[TFM]]. The next version of ASCII Tools was included in [[Cosmos|COSMOS]] application in 2021. In 2026-2027 a new stand-alone version will be released for CP/M plus, which will support Text, Graphics and Page Switching.
