The ColecoVision is a 1982 games console produced by the Connecticut Leather Company ('Coleco') using entirely off-the-shelf components: a Z80 CPU, a TMS99x8 VDP and an SN76489 sound generator alongside 1kb of RAM for the CPU and 16kb for the VDP and an 8kb ROM for firmware. It is notable for its impressive arcade ports, including the pack-in title Donkey Kong.

Despite selling an estimated 2 million units, the console was discontinued after only three years due to the American video games crash of 1983.
