There are some obvious features which are not the same because of the difference between SID and AY, but it is possible AMC was heavily inspired by DMC.
For [[Balloonacy ]] I (Arnoldemu) actually converted the C64 tune composed in DMC to the Amstrad and used AMC to play it back. I wrote my own tool to do this.
