Well, I was just a simple french CPC464 user (I'm still french and simple, but I only use PC emulators now). I used to program in BASIC (a lot) and in assembler (for limited graphical stuff). My most memorable experience was reproducing the sound of a roulette with the cassette deck, using some subtle POKEs.
