Electric Studio Mouse is an original opto-mechanical 3-button mouse, developed in 1985 by the Nidd Valley company in UK. The mouse was introduced for the BBC Micro family of Acorn Computers as "Nidd Valley Digimouse" and later adapted for a number of other platforms. For the Amstrad CPC, it was available as a version rebranded by Electric Studio.

From an article about the "Amstrad Consumer Show" in german magazine "Happy Computer 12/1986":
- Video-Digitizer ...... The Electric Studio. Zwei Versionen erlauben die Erfassung auf dem CPC 6128 (Model C6) oder dem Joyce (Model P8). Die so aufgezeichneten Bilder können problemlos entweder mit dem Light Pen oder mit der Maus vom gleichen Hersteller weiter bearbeitet werden. Als deutsche Händler fungieren Rushware und Profisoft."
