'''''Sub Hunter''''' is an side-scrolling shooter released for the CPC by retro gaming label [[Psytronik]] in early 2011. It is based on the 2007 C64 game which in turn was inspired by the 1977 [[Taito]] title of the same name.

There are 25 levels in which one steers a submarine on various missions that involve e.g. saving divers.

Sub Hunter is particularly notable for its smooth, colorful graphics with parallax-scrolling backgrounds which were previously thought to be more or less impossible on CPC hardware.

The game can be purchased on 3" disks or tapes or downloaded for free.
